Multi Appliance Gas Pipe Sizing is designed to provide correct gas pipe sizes for up to 4 different appliances based on a domestic gas meter.
All calculators are designed to be used on site and available from the Toolbox section of the TradeHelp mobile app.

- Select Toolbox from the main menu
- Go to Heating Calculators and select Multi Appliance Gas Pipe Sizing
- Select the number of appliances 1 – 4
- Enter the KW output of each appliance in the boxes adjacent to the orange pipe
- Enter the length of pipe (metres) and the number of bends, elbows and tees in the sections labelled along the pipe (eg M to A), working through each section listed
N.B For the most accurate result, if there is a Tee always include it in the measurement of the branch to the appliance (eg not M – A, but in A – B)
- Select Get Results
- The results will show the size of the pipe required in each section and give the pressure drop associated with that sizing when the appliances are working to maximum capacity
- Select Done to restart
